除了兒童歌謠以外，我一直都跟尼奧分享我平時自己聽的音樂．

爵士樂適合小孩子聽嗎？

只要不要是特別吵，或是文字不堪入耳的音樂都適合孩子接觸，特別是曲調優美，節奏輕鬆自在，聽了能跟著搖擺的歌曲．

之前我分享過親子Bossa Nova的系列，這次這首歌曲是我經常唱給小尼奧聽，跟他玩文字遊戲的一首英文經典歌曲：Let's call the whole thing off

這首歌因為經典，所以版本相當多，但我最喜歡的就是由Ella Fitzgerald和Louise Armstrong演唱的版本．

這首曲子是George Gershwin為了Shall we dance這齣戲所寫，Ella Fitzgerald 的歌聲相當優雅，搭配上Louise Armstrong，除了經典，還是經典．

這首歌最好玩的就是歌詞的部分：

在這首歌的副歌裡，唱著不同口音的相同單字，很好玩！對孩子來說，他可以了解同一個字，也有不同的發音，而且這些字都是他們認識的，像是potato,tomato...等等；這首歌也是說每個人都有自己的觀點，但是要怎麼找到一個平衡點，為彼此的關係找到一個出路呢？

Let's call the whole things off!把所有的事都先放一邊吧!放棄所有的成見吧！

雖然是一首百老匯的歌曲，不是偉大的古典樂，但是有趣的歌詞卻能為小朋友帶來淺移默化的小小智慧，以後當他遇到跟他不同見解的人事物，他應該會想起媽媽常常唱的這首歌，然後愉快的哼哼，接著，忘記那些因為成見所帶而與其他人產生的距離．
